What made you book a boudoir session?
It’s something I had heard of and was curious about for quite some time. But I had two reasons that made me finally pull the trigger. I’m getting married in April and wanted to give my hubby to be a special gift that would totally surprise him. I can’t wait to see his face when he opens it! Also, I turn 50 this year. I honestly have not liked seeing myself in pictures for a few years now. And wanted to do something bold to hopefully get back some confidence before heading into the second half of my life!
How did you feel coming into the studio?
By the time I walked into the studio Sivan had already been so communicative and supportive that my anxiety level was at a surprising low. I had worked out most of the nerves through the prep process of buying outfits and looking at poses. So the excitement outweighed any lingering nervousness.
How did you feel during your session (specifically once you saw your photos on the back of camera)?
It’s hard to put into words what I felt during the session. It was so many awesome feelings all at the same time. In a sentence, I felt like a special, pampered beautiful woman in the hands of a trustworthy professional. Sivan is a rare combination of an extremely talented photographer, refined businesswoman, and lovely human who really connects with her clients.
How did you feel after your session?
100% Exhilarated
How do you feel now after seeing your final images?
I literally cried during our preview session...the pictures were that amazing. It was the first time in as long as I could remember that I LOVED what I saw when looking at myself in a picture.
Anything you'd like to say to other women who are hesitating to do this for XYZ reason?
Do the thing!! You. Are. Worth. It!
