Too often, women, especially mothers, criticize their bodies; it is easy to lose yourself and your confidence, while raising little humans. Whether it’s because of a busy schedule, sleep deprivation, extra weight, or scarring, there is always something in our life that will block us from seeing ourselves as the amazing, badass rockstars we truly are!
The Lovely S came to us to help gain back the confidence she had lost in herself, and ready to love her beautiful postpartum body! She discovered that her "flaws" are actually what makes her unique, and what tells her story.
What made you book a boudoir session?
I wanted to build my confidence in my body after two kids via c-section.
How did you feel coming into the studio?
I was nervous walking into the studio, but immediately felt at ease swing my name by the makeup mirror. Marj and Sivan made me feel incredible and pumped up my confidence.
How did you feel during your session (specifically once you saw your photos on the back of camera)?
I kept saying “I know I’m in there somewhere!” I was floored by my beauty and how comfortable I felt throughout the session. I think I laughed most of the session which increased my comfort. The music in the background was my style and added to my comfort.
How did you feel after your session?
After the session I felt incredible and empowered. In fact, later that day I found out about a new job opportunity and I had a newfound empowerment in my talents and I applied that night. Fast forward to today, I accepted the job offer yesterday!!!!
How do you feel now after seeing your final images?
I am blown away by the images of me and my body. I am completely wow’d!
Anything you'd like to say to other women who are hesitating to do this for XYZ reason?
I was on the fence and snagged a last minute session. I am so glad I did it! I will cherish this session and images for years to come.
Anything else you'd like to add?
Sivan is a talented, passionate and dynamic photographer who knows her clients and her talents. She intertwines them to bring your inner beauty on to the image and make you look and feel radiant.
