What made you book a boudoir session?
Well... I really wanted to play dress up! This last year has been really hard ... an extrovert stuck at home during a pandemic – also adjusting to working remotely and homeschooling my kids. A breakup. All the inactivity, the uncertainty, the stress. I just felt very gray like I'd lost my spark. I wanted to jolt my sensuality back to life!
How did you feel coming into the studio?
I feel excited, nervous, confident ... I'd shaved and primped. It felt like a date!
How did you feel during your session (specifically once you saw your photos on the back of camera)?
The energy was really rolling ... it felt fun, flirty and amazing. I looked incredible.
How did you feel after your session?
On top of the world. I went to a restaurant to have lunch, and was flirted with by the female bartender and a male waiter. I could have had a date with either of them! Lol. That's just the level of energy that was flowing out of me. I was completely in my essence.
How do you feel now after seeing your final images?
They are gorgeous! Everyone I've shown them to says I look like a movie star. A real-life angel. So sexy and beautiful. They gave me this energetic life that has brought a huge flow of positive energy into my entire life. I'm taking risks (buying a new home) and feel alive again.
Anything you'd like to say to other women who are hesitating to do this for XYZ reason?
It's a leap of faith! Taking those leaps and pouring love into ourselves creates life. It's like how on an airplane you put the oxygen mask on yourself before putting it on others ... you create so much positivity not just in your own life, but in all the lives you touch.
