Dripping in Gold | Orlando Boudoir Photographer | Lovely in Lace Boudoir

The Lovely D. decided to book a boudoir session as a birthday gift to herself, and I LOVE that. Birthday sessions are always a blast!

She wanted to celebrate another year of life, feel beautiful, and do something that was just for herself.

She was definitely nervous when she walked into the studio, which is completely normal, by the way. This was completely outside her comfort zone, but she was excited to try something new.

I sent her a questionnaire after her session, and she mentioned in there that she has struggled with body dysmorphia. So when she saw her photos on the back of the camera, it was a pretty emotional moment for her! She genuinely couldn't believe she was looking at herself! 🥹

By the time she left, she was feeling beautiful, sexy, empowered, and so much more comfortable in her own skin. That is quite literally why we do what we do! We want this feeling for ALL women.

And when she saw her final images, she summed it up perfectly:

"I am a total baddie ❤️‍🔥, even after 4 children, and no one can tell me otherwise!"

YES, GIRL. We love to hear it! 🙌

I also love what she had to say to other women who might be hesitant about booking their own session:

"You deserve to see yourself the way everyone else sees you. Don’t wait until you feel 'good enough'… you already are and you always have been. 💖"

I’ll share her full Q&A below, plus some of her FIREY images that she’s allowed us to share!

What made you book a boudoir session?

I booked a boudoir session as a birthday gift to myself. I wanted to celebrate another year of life, feel confident, and beautiful, and do something special just for me.

How did you feel coming into the studio?

I was very nervous coming into the studio and definitely outside of my comfort zone. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was also excited to push myself and do something completely different for me.

How did you feel during your session (specifically once you saw your photos on the back of camera)?

I’ve always struggled with body dysmorphia, so seeing my photos on the back of the camera was really emotional. I honestly couldn’t believe  what I was seeing was me.

How did you feel after your session?

I felt beautiful, sexy, empowered, and more comfortable in my own skin.

How do you feel now after seeing your final images?

I am a total baddie ❤️‍🔥, even after 4 children and no one can tell me otherwise!

Anything you'd like to say to other women who are hesitating to do this for XYZ reason?

You deserve to see yourself the way everyone else sees you. Don’t wait until you feel “good enough”…. you already are and you always have been 💖!
